It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Genevieve Rego on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Toronto at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Joseph Rego. Cherished mother of Shirley Mascarenhas (Leslie), Anita D’Costa (the late Christopher), Sabrina Concessao (Vivian), Pramilla Pereira (Carl), Diana Cox (Steve), and Sunil Rego. Beloved grandmother of Andrea, Aneesa, Anna, Nicole, Rebecca, Keith, Rowena, Errol, Craig, Lisa, and Shannon. Caring great-grandmother of Nathan, Zara, Ethan, Alexander, Andrew, Ava, and Rachael. Genevieve will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the Alzheimer’s Society.
