Elizabeth   Robichaud nee Doiron
Elizabeth (Betty) Robichaud (née Doiron), 91, of Maple, Ontario, died peacefully on February 3rd, 2018, following a short illness, at Mackenzie Health Hospital in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Born January 23, 1927 in Saint-Simon, N.B., Betty is predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Elizabeth (Mallet) Doiron of Saint-Simon, N.B. and her late husband of 51 years, Raymond Robichaud of Néguac, N.B. A loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother with a wonderful sense of humour, she greatly enjoyed cooking, gardening, bird watching, and the outdoors. Most of all she took immense pleasure in being with her family and especially doting on her grandchildren. Betty is survived by her three daughters, Gisèle (Scott) McDiarmid of Toronto, Ontario, Raymonde Nelson of Ottawa, Ontario, and Anita Robichaud of Montréal, Québec; her six grandchildren Monique, Andrew, Chloé, Christopher, Katherine, and Mélanie; her four great-grandchildren Cezanne, Joshua, Chace, and Meadow; her great-great-granddaughter Lilly-Ann; her three siblings Euloge (Isabella) Doiron, of Val-Bélair, Québec, Athanas (predeceased by Claudette) Doiron of Edmonton, Alberta, and Alexandrine Doiron, of Blainville, Québec; and several nieces and nephews from the Eastern to the Western coasts of Canada. She is preceded in death also by her siblings Laura, Wilfred (Hélène), Alban, Imelda, Denise (Rosaire), Clémentine (Auguste), Léonce (Hélene). Memorial donations may be made to Fibromyalgia Society of Ontario. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the wonderful nurses, practical nurses and doctors at the Maple Health Centre and Mackenzie Health Hospital for their tender and devoted care.
